Description

Ingredients

  • Breadcrumbs (for coating)
  • Optional: cinnamon, sugar, or cocoa powder (for flavoring the coating)
  • Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, sprinkles, or chopped nuts
  • Optional toppings: chocolate sauce, caramel drizzle, fresh fruit, whipped cream, mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Scoop 4 balls of ice cream and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze until solid (2–3 hours or overnight).
  2. Prepare a coating station: mix crushed cookies/cornflakes and breadcrumbs. Add optional spices like cinnamon, sugar, or cocoa powder.
  3. Dip each frozen ice cream ball in beaten egg, then roll in coating. Repeat for a double layer.
  4. Flash-freeze the coated balls for 15–20 minutes to firm up the coating.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Air fry the balls for 3–5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately with desired toppings like sauces, whipped cream, or fruit.
