Instructions
- Make the Caramel: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar until it turns amber. Carefully stir in butter and cream until smooth.
- Make the Fudge Base: In another saucepan, melt chocolate and sweetened condensed milk over low heat. Add cocoa powder (if using) and stir until thick and smooth.
- Combine: Gently fold the caramel into the chocolate mixture. Swirl for a marbled look or mix fully.
- Finish: Stir in vanilla extract and sea salt. Add optional flavorings if desired.
- Cool and Store: Let sauce cool slightly before transferring to jars. Store in fridge for up to two weeks. Reheat gently before serving.
