Instructions

- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture by hand to avoid overmixing.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 8–10 minutes until edges are golden but centers appear slightly underbaked.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
