Description

Crock pot garlic butter steak bites deliver tender sirloin steak, golden potatoes, and crisp asparagus slow-cooked in a rich, savory garlic butter herb sauce creating a complete, restaurant-worthy meal with minimal hands-on time. Naturally gluten-free and easily made low-carb.


Ingredients

– 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch bite-sized pieces

– 1 cup diced yellow onion

– 1 lb petite Yukon Gold potatoes, halved

– ½ lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

– ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

– 4 tsp minced garlic (about 4 cloves)

– 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

– 1 tsp black pepper

– 1 tsp paprika

– ½ tsp mustard powder

– ½ tsp dried rosemary

– ½ tsp dried thyme

– Optional garnish: fresh parsley or chives


Instructions

  1. Arrange potatoes on one side of a 6-quart slow cooker and asparagus on the other.
  2. In the center, combine steak bites and diced onion.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, paprika, mustard powder, rosemary, and thyme.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours, or until steak is tender and potatoes are fork-tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving. Serve hot as a complete meal.
