Skillet queso dip is a rich, creamy, and cheesy appetizer made with ground beef, sausage, and a blend of cheeses, cooked to perfection in one pan. It’s bold, hearty, and irresistibly gooey perfect for parties, game nights, or any casual get-together.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Dip:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 32 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) tomato soup
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 can (16 oz) chili beans, drained

For Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Sliced jalapeños
  • Diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and add Velveeta, cream cheese, cheddar cheese soup, cream of chicken soup, tomato soup, diced tomatoes, and chili beans.
  4. Stir continuously until the cheeses melt and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  5. Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  6. Garnish with parsley, jalapeños, and diced tomatoes. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
