Description

Ingredients

  • Noodles (egg noodles, rice noodles, or whole-wheat noodles)
  • Garlic (several cloves, minced or sliced)
  • Butter (or sesame oil for a richer flavor)
  • Soy sauce
  • Rice vinegar
  • Sesame oil
  • Chili oil (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Scallions or sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Noodles: Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook noodles of your choice until al dente, then drain.
  2. Create Garlic Sauce: Heat butter (or sesame oil) in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant but not burnt. Optionally, add soy sauce or a little water to enhance flavor.
  3. Combine Noodles and Sauce: Add noodles to the pan with garlic sauce and toss to coat. Add more noodle water if the sauce seems too dry. Season with salt, sesame oil, and pepper.
