- 1 package King’s Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
- ½ cup softened butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Frosting:
- 4 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins:
- Chopped nuts
- Raisins
- Sea salt sprinkle
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until smooth.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise.
- Place bottom half of rolls in prepared pan, spread with half the butter mixture.
- Add top half of rolls and spread remaining butter mixture on top.
- Bake uncovered for 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- While baking, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls so it melts slightly and drizzle down the sides.
- Serve immediately.
