Description

Hawaiian roll cinnamon rolls are soft, sweet Hawaiian rolls transformed into gooey cinnamon rolls with a spiced cinnamon-sugar filling and creamy cream cheese frosting. They’re quick, easy, and perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Frosting:

  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Add-ins:

  • Chopped nuts
  • Raisins
  • Sea salt sprinkle

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise.
  4. Place bottom half of rolls in prepared pan, spread with half the butter mixture.
  5. Add top half of rolls and spread remaining butter mixture on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  7. While baking, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Spread frosting over warm rolls so it melts slightly and drizzle down the sides.
  9. Serve immediately.
