Description

A rich, fudgy chocolate treat that combines the best of brownies and quick bread. Perfectly moist with a chewy exterior, this versatile recipe is ideal for dessert or a sweet breakfast indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 jars hot fudge sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brownie mix and baking powder until combined.
  3. In another bowl, heat the hot fudge sauce in the microwave until slightly warmed. Mix it with eggs and oil until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Optional: Drizzle extra warmed hot fudge sauce over the top before serving.
