Description

Marry Me Chicken with Risoni features tender chicken in a creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce, paired with buttery risoni pasta for an indulgent one-pan meal. Perfect for date nights, family dinners, or cozy evenings in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup risoni (or orzo)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, toast risoni for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
  5. Return chicken to the pan. Simmer for 15–20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

  • Add-ins like sun-dried tomatoes or spinach increase flavor and nutrients.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3–4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
