Customize it with sparkling water or fresh herbs for added flair, or pair it with light snacks for a complete refreshment. Whether served at picnics, parties, or just on a sunny day, this drink is sure to be a hit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple juice
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (or honey/agave for substitution)
  • 4 cups water (divided)
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Optional Enhancements

  • Mint leaves
  • Lime zest
  • Sparkling water

Pineapple slices or lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Juice fresh lemons and pineapples. Strain juices to remove pulp or seeds.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water with sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves to form simple syrup. Let it cool.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix lemon juice, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with pineapple slices, lemon wedges, or mint leaves.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar to taste depending on the sweetness of your fruit.
  • Add sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
  • Try blending with frozen fruit or ice for a slushy version.
  • Use mason jars or copper mugs for an elevated presentation.
  • Pairs well with fruit salad, cheese platters, or grilled shrimp.
