- 1 cup pumpkin puree

- 1 ¼ cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
- 1 tablespoon flour (for tossing chocolate chips)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease an 8×4-inch loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking soda.
- Add sugar, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined do not overmix.
- Toss 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of flour to prevent sinking, then fold into batter.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and sprinkle remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then run a knife along the sides to loosen. Remove from pan and cool completely before slicing.
