Cheesecake Layer:

  • Cream Cheese: 8 oz (225g)
  • Granulated Sugar: 1/4 cup (50g)
  • Egg: 1 whole egg
  • Vanilla Extract: 1/2 tsp

Strawberry Swirl:

 

  • Strawberry Jam: 1/4 cup (65g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt bittersweet chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat granulated sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the melted chocolate.
  5. Fold in the dry ingredients until just combined. Spread brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the brownie base cool completely.
  7. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  8. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie base. Drop spoonfuls of strawberry jam over the top and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes or until the cheesecake is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  10. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate overnight before slicing and serving.
