Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, stuffing, and shredded turkey. Add a bit of black pepper to taste.
- Sauté Vegetables: In a skillet, sauté onions and celery in butter until soft, then mix them into the stuffing base.
- Form the Balls: Shape the mixture into 2-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, until the balls are golden brown and crispy.
- Optional – Fry: For a crispier exterior, roll the balls in panko breadcrumbs and fry them in butter and oil until golden brown.
Notes
- You can make these stuffing balls up to 24 hours in advance. Store them in the fridge, and bake them when ready to serve.
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free bread and ensure all seasonings are gluten-free.
- If the mixture feels too dry, add extra broth. If it’s too wet, add more bread cubes.
